Treatment starts with a fifty-minute appointment. Your clinician asks about your sleep, your schedule and what you have tried. If CBT-I is a good fit, you begin a two-minute morning sleep diary. Your clinician uses it to choose a consistent bedtime and wake time, called a sleep window. Treatment usually lasts six to eight weekly sessions. Many patients notice progress in the first few weeks. Sleep apnea and insomnia often occur together. We treat the insomnia, we have partners who treat the apnea, and our clinician coordinates any referral that is needed. Details are on How It Works.
The same list applies whichever office or clinician you use. Benefits are verified before the first session.
